Fast, professional, and BEAUTIFUL work! I took my wedding gown in on a Tuesday and met with Kayla, who did the work on my gown. We decided to take my dress in a couple inches or so on each side, tighten the straps, add cups, and bustle the train. I initially wanted her to just remove the extra layers to shorten the train, and Kayla told me it would be more cost effective to bustle instead of cutting through all of the layers of the dress. She showed me what it would look like bustled and I LOVED it! I was also convinced that I would need a bra, and she asked if I wanted to just try the cups that could be added into the bodice of the dress, which I did, and I also LOVED. My girls (34DD) felt secure like I didn’t know was even possible in just cups. She did recommend hemming my dress since it was a few inches too long and I planned on wearing flats, but I declined simply so I could stay within my budget. Kayla walked me through line by line what each service would cost (taking in the bodice as well as the separate liner, tightening the straps, adding the cups, bustling in multiple places), so there was no surprise in the price. I paid 50% of the total (which was $540), and she told me I could pick it up the following Tuesday. JUST ONE WEEK! My dress is not a simple gown, the bodice and even the straps are very detailed with beading, floral appliqués, and sequins, and Kayla did an amazing job. My dress fit beautifully, and when I noticed one of the cups bubbling in a funky way at the top, she asked if I had time to wait while she fixed the cup. I waited not even 10 minutes, I tried it back on, and it was just perfection. I am so happy with the service and work that I received here, I would highly recommend Catia’s Alterations to anyone needing any kind of alterations done. I will post photos of my gown after my wedding!
